Our cottages have been restored to offer excellent holiday accommodation with great facilities in a quiet relaxing corner of the Cretan countryside.
Lemon Tree Cottage offers a detached cottage completely private with private swimming pool sleeping 2 - 3 people. Lavender and Mandarin Cottages are 2 semi-detached cottages with shared swimming pool sleeping 2 - 4 persons in each cottage.
An ideal retreat for couples or a small family. Larger families or couples wishing to stay close to each other may rent the cottages together depending on availability.
All our cottages are furnished to a high standard and offer excellent facilities including fully fitted kitchens, washing machines, dishwashers, microwaves, and entertainment systems that include flat screen satellite TV, DVD players, CD player with iPod adapter. We also provide hairdryers, irons and ironing boards.
Each cottage has an individual BBQ for private use.
The Cottages are located in the quiet rural village of Litsarda near Vamos in the Apokoronas area of Chania.
The local village of Litsarda has a small church, a local pizzeria and a cafenion. There are many interesting walks around the area and the nearby village of Vamos is 5 minutes drive away. Here you can find a more varied selection of shops, bakery, butcher, pharmacy, doctors, dentists and local handicraft shops.
A selection of beaches are 10 minutes drive you can see from our pictures the wonderful beaches and harbours of Almyrida and Georgoupolis plus the beautiful Lake Kournas is only 15 minutes drive from our cottages. There are many other sights and activites all within easy driving distance and because of the great location you are equaly distance between the magical market towns of Chania and Rethymnon.
The outstanding facilities, combined with the natural beauty of the area promise comfortable, unforgettable holidays in beautiful surroundings.
There are 2 airports in Crete - Heraklion Airport and Chania Airport. Once our customers have confirmed their reservation, we will provide driving instructions from the chosen airport or port to our cottages. It is also important to know that our keys are stored in key safes and for this we will also provide our customers with the combination for the safe. Again this will be sent to each customer before departure from their home country.

Lavender Cottage: As you enter the cottage on the ground floor, you enter into the spacious living room which provides varied entertainment and comfortable sofas to relax. There is a wood burning stove for cooler months and flat screen sat TV with DVD player. The dining table with 4 chairs is located in the corner of the living room. A beautiful stone archway, leads you to the kitchen area which is fully equipped with full cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridgefreezer and other such gadgets for an easy life. From the kitchen, a stairway leads you to the upstairs master bedroom.
The twin bedroom downstairs is located via a door from the living room and is at ground level. It has an ensuite WC, shower and washbasin plus air-conditioning.
Upstairs is the master bedroom with 4 poster bed, great views to the mountains and air-conditioning. The ensuite bathroom offers a whirlpool bath, shower room and toilet. You may enjoy views to the mountains from your victorian style balcony or from your relaxing bath.

Mandarin Cottage: As you enter the cottage on the ground floor, you enter into the kitchen area which is fully equipped with full cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer and other such gadgets for an easy life spacious.
The dining table is close by and has seating for 4 people.
The interior is light and airy offering modern + comfortable furnishings. There is one master bedroom upstairs and 2 children can sleep on the sofa beds downstairs in the living room.
The living room is separated from the dining area by an arched doorway and is lovely and cosy with a back lit stone wall providing a warm atmosphere. The 2 sofas are traditional style and can easily be transformed into a bed to accommodate a child. There is a wood burning stove for cooler months and flat screen sat TV with DVD player. The CD player also has an iPod socket.
The open stairway leads from the living room to the open plan bedroom upstairs.
The master bedroom is very spacious, with beautiful stone walls and has a 4 poster bed offering great views to the mountains. The bedroom has air-conditioning and a balcony with table and chairs so you can wake up gently and listen to the birds. The ensuite bathroom has a whirlpool jacuzzi bath, shower room and toilet. A hairdryer is also provided.

Lemon Tree Cottage is seperated from Lavender and Mandarin Cottages with stone walls and the gardens, furniture, pool and cottage are completely private from the others.
The interior of the cottage is all open plan with the double bedded sleeping area to the right and a 2nd sleeping area on the wooden mezzanine above. (It is worth noting that extra care should be taken on the stairs with toddlers or people with walking difficulties).
The cosy living area is heated by a small log burner for winter and early/late holidays, and there is a comfortable sofa, flat screen TV, DVD, CD player with iPod adapter for your enjoyment.
The small fitted kitchen overlooks the pretty terrace and gardens and there is additional room that contains the washing machine, dishwasher, toaster, fridge, ironing board and iron. There is also a separate shower room and wc.
The beauty of this cottage is the outside area which is completely enclosed and totally private. The well established flowers and shrubs provide a picturesque setting from which to relax and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the countryside.
