The old renovated farm was rebuilt into modern flats (gîtes) and is situated in beautiful natural surroundings with an exceptional view of the grasslands and woods. On the neighbouring grasslands graze the cattle and accentuate the local caracter of the region. There are local also two fishponds where fishing is allowed and a small boat is available.
For the kids is enough playground and adapted accomadations. The flat (nr.2) was newly built in the old hayloft of the old farm. On the ground (at street level) were the old cowsheds, that are now renovated into a party room. A pivotal staircase will lead you to the flat. On this floor you will find the entrance and a separate toilet as well as the living room (with sofabed for 2 persons), a fully equipped kitchen and the acces to the terrace (on the south side). On the second floor are two bedrooms (1 room with a double bed / 1 room with 2 single beds and 1 extra bed for a child) and the bathroom with shower and toilet.Configuration

The cultural towns Chimay and Couvin are located at a distance of 12 Kms. From Brussels (+/-125 Kms), go in the direction of Charleroi on the E19/A54 (+/- 125 Kms). On the ring road of Charleroi take the exit nr. 30 (Couillet) and head for Couvin via Philippeville on the N5. In the neighbourhood of Couvin, follow the direction of Chimay on the N99. Nearly halfway after 10 km you will arive at a roundabout (located in an industrial area with the brewery of the beer of Chimay). Here take the right in the direction of Lompret. In the village of Lompret you will pass the bridge and drive on the right just before the only local café/restaurant. After taking a steep incline, you must follow the second road on your right through the woods (the first road goes to a stone mine, the second trough the wood). The farm is the second farm to the left once you have passed the woods (+/- 1,5 km).
