There are all sorts of recreation and because of its extention, it's not busy at all. The area south of Barbençon is one large green lung with woods, untouched nature and possibility to take a walk along many paths. You can visit well-known places like Chimay, Couvin, Mariembourg, Virelles and Viroin( where you can take a train that brings you through the valley)l'Eau Noire and l'Eau d'Heure.
Château-Ferme de Fayt has a large hall, a fully equiped kitchen, a large diner room (80Sqm) with fireplace and barbecue. There's a sunny garden with magnificent view; a large foyer, music installation, TV, VCR and a game room with table football.
There are 12 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. All rooms have central heating and a sink with warm and cold water.There are disabled persons facilities. The interior design emits a 19th century civility air. It is cosely furnished with mainly antiquities.* For groups up to 40 persons there is a possibility for 3 bedrooms extra.
Rental prices are based on groups up to 24 persons.( up to 40 persons: +20 Euro p.p.p.weekend or midweek; 30 Euro p.p.p.week.)From 2004 + 20€ p.p. week; +30€ p.p. midweek; +40€ p.p. week
Administration cost: 15 Euro per booking.
You can bring your own towels(bath & kitchen) and sheets or you can rent them at the castle. Dinner, breakfast and lunch is possible on demand. The costs for electricity and fuel are according to your usage. For the cleaning afterwards you pay 100/125 € (WE & midweek)150 €.(Week).
