The house has just completely been redecorated and has become a very pleasant holiday house with whitewashed walls, a cookery island and all the beams in site, etc. The garden with its beautiful view, large lawn and swimming pool that is secured by an alarm system, offers a superb playground for the children. The swimming pool is for private use except in August when it has to be shared with the owners. This is the region of the bastides towns dated back to the middle ages, like Monflanquin, Villeréal, Monpazier and many others. It is also close the famous sites of the Dordogne (castles, caves and prehistoric sites) and Lot with its Cahors vineyards.
