This unique olive mill of the 1800s is very picturesquely situated in the hills not far from Corfu town. In 1995 it was with plenty of love restored into the comfortable (300 m2) villa Varipatades. Both separate houses (main and annex) lie inside a tastefully maintained vast garden with lovely flowers, grass surfaces and fruit trees.
The main house is an important villa for 7 (max 9) people, the ~ 40 m2 annex cottage is a romantic retreat for two people.
Surrounded by many hundreds of olive trees and cypresses the villa lies quite and protected in the middle of a multi green highland domain of about 100’000 m2.
From the garden one can enjoy a deep view to many villages in the surrounding regions. Around the houses in many furnished terraces one finds comfort inspiration and tranquility. And might you feel some warm wind, you can promptly refresh by jumping in the, 60 m2 big, swimming pool. Lovely roses and other flowers create a palette of colors and nuances.
In the main house a 120 m2 traditionally tastefully decorated living room is waiting for you with a dining area and several sitting groups in front of the fireplace. The old traditional stone oil mill in the middle of the room, the rustic flag-stone covered floor, the visible wooden beamed ceiling and the classical furniture are giving the room an elegant country style character of its own.
From here one has direct access to a vast covered outside terrace and to the fully equipped kitchen. Over three steps one has access to a welcome room with its own bed and an entrance to a terrace under a relaxing pergola. The room leads to a twin room and to another double room, both with their own bathrooms. The third double bedroom with bathroom ensuite is near the main entrance of the olive mill.
The romantic garden cottage is a cozy retreat for two people. It lies a few yards on the side of the main house and has its own kitchen bathroom and terrace with a unique view to the garden and the pool right from the middle of the big double bed.
Due to the exclusive situation, for downtown transportation, access to the authentic west coast corfiot beaches and excursions to the surrounding picturesque countryside, it is advisable to rent a usual motorcar.
Resume: 9 people (ev.+2 removable beds) , 100’000 m2 estate of witch 4’000 m2 garden, 340 m2 living space. 60 m2 swimming pool with external shower. Sheet & towels change 2 to 3 times a week, daily cleaning.

Varipatades is a typical corfiot village conserving its traditional character. Because of its many old
houses , numerous churches, it’s intact structure, it is under heritage protection.
Easter is also known for it’s beautiful traditional celebration.
Varipatades lies in an inspirationally exquisite green hilly landscape spread with olive trees.
From here one has a panoramic view to the Pantokrator mountain, the village Pelekas and further to the Ionian sea and the montaneous mainland.
