The cosy, authentic holiday home Tanvald is located on the border between the Iron and Giant Mountains, in the quiet nature village of Sumburk nad Desnou (near Tanvald) and is suitable for winter and summer holidays. There are several ski areas nearby, like Spicak (5 km), Rejdice-Snowpark (6 km) and Albrechtice (9 km) in the Iron Mountains (Jizerske hory). Well-known ski areas in the Giant Mountains (Krkonose) like Harrachov (10km), Spindleruv Mlyn (37km) and Rokytnice (20km) are quickly accessible. There are langlaufloipes (cross-country-skiing) in the immediate proximity.
In summer you will find ideal conditions for walking and cycling here. You could visit the stalactite caves, make excursions in the nature area Bohemian Paradise (Cesky Raj) or visit the city of Liberec which offers numerous leisure facilities.
