At a height of 781 m. lies the idyllic village of Waidring (very popular among the Dutch). The area is known for its lakes and many walking possibilities. Waidring has a small badesee/lake where you can swim. If you prefer a bigger lake with lots of water sports possibilities you can go to the nearby and better-known St. Ulrich am Pillersee.
