The famous Großglockner and Krimmler Wasserfälle are also well worth a visit. There are also many cycling paths in the region where you can start your mountain biking adventure !
Maishofen is situated in an excellent ski area; Saalbach-Hinterglemm (200 km slopes), Europa Sportregion (130 km slopes) belong to the many options! Both ski areas offer brilliant apres-ski, numerous mountain restaurants and are suitable for beginners and experienced skiers alike.
