"Haus Alpenglühn" has a quiet location directly at the edge of the forest of Schönau, at the Königssee, in the Berchtesgadener Land. The house has 5 apartments in total over 3 floors. Your holiday home is approx. 40 m2. The owner offers a sandwiches service. You will have access to a sauna in the house (payable).
Restaurants and shopping facilities are within 150 - 500 m and there is a bus stop at 50 m. The Grünstein-skilift is at 200 m of the house. You can ski in the evenings too here. The ski resort Jenner is at 1 km of the apartment. Walking paths start directly in front of the house.
Other leisure possibilities in the region are: mountain biking, rafting, paragliding, canyoning, langlauf, tennis, swimming (e.g. in the Koningssee, 2.5 km), horse riding, (midget)golf, boat hire and there are many museums around Schonau. The Berchtesgadener Land also has many other possibilities. For example, you could visit the pretty Mozart town Salzburg (30 km), play a round of golf at 1000m altitude or go ice skating on the indoor rink (open in summer too).
