Our farm is a grassland business with quiet surroundings near the forest without any transit traffic. For you to feel pleasure, we offer: children`s playground with versatile playing equipment, barbecue with summer house and sunbathing area, when we have the time, we enjoy doing a tractor trip with the kids or yourself, a led ride on a pony or a ride on our horses. The Mattenhof is a good starting point for summer an winter sports. Nearly to us there is the nordic activ zentrum Herrischried-Görwihl, cross-country ski runs nearby the house, as well as a training ski lift for children and adults and some normal ski lifts in the immediate vicinity, free time arrangement with ice-skating hall, indoor swimming pool and wellness in the village. In the summer are nordic walking routes, well signposted routes for mountain bike, the possibility to hike on well signposted routes, natural adventure trails, possibility to hike with a nature guide. Trip possibilities into Switzerland (approx 25 km) or into the Alsce (approx. 70 km), theme parks like the "Europapark" in Rust, the avian park in Steinen, "Steinwasenpark" in Oberried near to Freiburg. Schluchsse, Titisee or Bodensee are wortwhile destination. The possibility to use bus and train for free due to Konus. We enjoy to help you with your trip.
