This house with a unique view of the sea is built on the cliffs. In the summer the sea breeze provides pleasant cooling. This is an ideal spot to enjoy the sun, the sea, and the peaceful surroundings. Hence our motto and the name of the house "Festina Lente".
The house is located in Els Munts, a suburb of Torredembarra. Interesting cities such as Barcelona (80km), Tarragona (12km), and Reus (15km) can be easily reached by car or by train. The location is ideal for those who enjoy the beach (there are 2 sandy beaches within walking distance) as well as for those interested in history and culture ( Gaudi, Roman ruins, the Modernists, historic monasteries, and the Ebro Delta nature reserve).
This modern and light house with its garden directly bordering on the sea is located in a unique spot, within walking distance of a beautiful bay and the huge sandy beach of Torredembarra.
The house is well maintained and offers every comfort for an enjoyable stay.
Under the house is a garage with space for up to three cars. From the garage a staicase leads directly to the ground floor of the house.
Here there is a roomy, well equiped kitchen with electric oven, washing machine, microwave, 5 hob gas stove, coffee machine, water boiler, etc.
Just inside the front door there is a separate WC.
The living room looks onto the terrace, the garden and the sea. It is a light and very roomy space with a dining area and two sitting areas, one by the terrace, and the other by the fireplace. There is a satelite colour television and a stereo CD player. On the terrace one can sit under the awning and enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner or simply appreciate the view with a glass of something tasty!
In the garden there are sunbeds ( for hours of reading or relaxation) and an outside shower.
An open staircase leads to the first floor where, on the sea side there is the master bedroom with en suite bathroom, built-in wardrobe and balcony. On this side is another bedroom with double bed.
On the land side there are a further 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with bunkbeds. Here there is a second bathroom with walk-in shower, wash basin and WC.
Festina Lente is a light and attractive summer house with a view which never tires. The sound of the waves and the fresh sea air ensure that all who stay at Festina Lente are able to fully relax.
