Villa Cristiana is a country house set in the middle of the splendid Chianti Classico landscape, 5 km from San Donato in Poggio, a characteristic historic Tuscan centre. Villa Cristiana is a 280 sqm splendid stone-built country house restored, excellently refined (hand-made terracotta floors and beamed ceilings) and furnished by the owners with taste and elegance. The house is set on a rather isolated site, in fact, you should take country road for approximately two km, before you will reach a breathtaking scenery. The surrounding park (1.500 sqm) with mature trees, stretching out onto terraced fields, is excellently maintained. Here you will find the swimming pool from where you have a wonderful view on olive groves, vineyards and neighbouring farm houses in the distance.
Ground floor: fully equipped kitchen with all modern appliances and a traditional fireplace; large dining and living rooms are connected to the front patio with its external oven and back loggia offering wonderful outdoor eating areas.
First floor: three double bedrooms one with its own balcony leading to the back garden and overlooking the pool, two bathrooms, one twin room, and one bedroom with a queen-size bed.
Villa Cristiana is close to local amenties and within easy reach of the motorway for links to the famous centres of Tuscany such as Florence, Siena, Pisa, Lucca and so on.
By train: The nearest main station is in Florence or Poggibonsi. There are frequent services to this stations from all the main cities in Italy.
By car:
From Rome: Take the A1 Motorway in the direction of Florence. Leave the motorway at the Firenze Certosa exit and continue on the freeway towards Siena. Take the exit for San Donato in Poggio and follow the indications for Castellina in Chianti.
From Milan: Take the A1 motorway in the direction of Rome and get off at the Firenze Certosa exit; continue on the freeway towards Siena.
