The quiet hillside location (250 m) in the midst of ancient olive trees and the dry nature of the Pisaner mountains, give this house a special flair and offers the visitor a unique panorama. The apartment is composed by kitchen/living room with fireplace, two bedrooms and one bathroom (shower). The outdoor terrace, situated in the olive grove is near the entrance and allows to enjoy the breathtaking view while having breakfast, other meals or just a glass of whine during summer evenings. The apartment has a private access and a private parking place. The visitor reaches the centre of the village in 5 minutes by car and with a 20 minutes walk. The property is situated within a network of pathways covering the whole area. Visitors can start directly for a walk and discover the Pisaner Mountains on foot.
Few Kilometres far from Pisa,Lucca ;Flocence and the seaside the Calci borough expands in a valley bearing the same name but also known as Valgraziosa (literally "nice valley") dotted with villages and settlements belonging to the wider morphological picture of the Monte Pisano, a real natural amphitheatre dominated by the summit of Monte Serra (917 m. above the sea level).
The historic village of Calci, known for its sights and its climate, has optimal transportation connections for trips throughout Tuscany. The sea is just 20 km away. Here some more distances: Pisa 15 minutes by car, Lucca 30 minutes, Florence 75 minutes, Siena 2 hours, Volterra and San Gimignano 50 minutes. In Calci there are all kind of facilities, a public swimming pool, tennis courts, bars restaurants ecc. The most important sight is the Certosa di Calci.
The monastic complex is surrounded by Monti Pisani and develops in the Valgraziosa; it's among the most suggestive views of the Calci area (a masterpiece from the Fourteenth Century redecorated between the Seventeenth and Eighteenth Centuries), together with the Museum of Natural History and of the Territory, very important on an European level and unique in its own kind.
