La Torre is situated just fifteen minutes away from the magnificent beaches and waters of the Mar Menor lagoon – the largest salt water lagoon in Europe. It has excellent access to the most important cities in the region - Murcia and Cartagena.
There are many services on the resort for the use of residents and guests alike. Services include many restaurants, bars, a large supermarket, bank, beauty salon, healthcare centre, numerous communal swimming pools and many other facilities.
The resort has a superb 18 hole, par 69, golf course designed by Nicklaus Design that runs through the entire complex. Its spectacular design includes large bunkers and huge lakes, making it a challenge to players of all levels.
Away from the complex - Murcia is the capital of the province and is situated on the Costa Calida coast which lies between the Costa Blanca and the Costa Almeria. It's fantastic climate and rolling beaches makes it a centre of healthy living. It is also famous for it's historic, natural beauties. The area is full of natural parks and nature reserves that are protected by the Spanish Government
With history dating back to the year 800 there are some fantastic historical features to visit. Murcia is irrigated by the Rivers Segura, Murdo and Sangonera which makes it a very varied landscape from the bright greens of the many orchards of citrus fruit, to the duller greens of the olive groves.
