Duinbergen is part of the town Knokke-Heist in West Flanders one of the most famous seaside resorts of Belgium. Unlike Knokke Duinbergen is characterized by many distinctive villas and a quiet environment. For 1900 was the area between Knokke-Heist and undeveloped. Around 1900, plans have been made to this area a tourist function.
