Apartement "Il Lebbio" in Montaione (Florence, Toscany)
IL LEBBIO: Shaded by centuries-old trees, buried in the depths of the countryside and in the quiet of the Montaione area, the Il Lebbio property, which is part of a hillside estate, consists of an old main villa from the seventeenth century and two properties alongside. Careful and thoughtful renovation has returned these two buildings to their original simple splendour, and the internal renovation has transformed them into large, welcoming apartments. The grounds around them is fenced and includes an unusual pool (7x15 m) with hydromassage and cascade and surrounded by a large sunbathing terrace. The apartments have been furnished with typical tuscan furniture and hand-made iron bedsteads. Each apartment has independent heating, two or three bathrooms, telephone, satellite TV and a safe. There are also laundry service and fax available against payment. It lies about 50 km from Florence, Pisa and Siena and about 20 km from San Gimignano. Guests are looked after by multilingual staff.
