Apartement "Il Poggiolo" in Castel Del Piano (Perugia, Umbry)
Il Poggiolo lies in the middle of untouched natural countryside of low hills and fertile plains inside a farm estate consisting mostly of woods. At the heart of the farm, in the middle of its grounds with centuries-old trees, stands the large 19th century villa where 3 suites and 2 twin-bedrooms have been made (see Residence section). The surrounding buildings, formerly farming outbuldings, have been renovated and divided into 5 apartments, 2 of which we propose to you, which are warm and welcoming, and provided with private outdoor areas. A nice restaurant (open from 15/06 to 15/09) has been created in the former orangery. Guests will enjoy a 16x8 m swimming-pool, a tennis-court and a riding-ground. Besides being an ideal spot for a totally relaxing holiday, Il Poggiolo is also an excellent base for sightseeing in Umbria and Tuscany. It lies in fact only 12 km from Perugia, 30 km from Assisi, 25 km from Todi and 45 km from Gubbio.
